On the heels of Gavin Sheets’ towering walk-off home run to salvage a doubleheader split, the White Sox are back in action at 7:10 p.m. to try to take a second straight game against the Twins .The White Sox remained 20 games over .500 on Monday, and now own a season-high 8 1/2 game lead over Cleveland. The South Siders still own the best winning percentage in the AL https://www.chicagowxstore.com/72-White_Sox_Luis_Robert_Jersey, as well.Dallas Keuchel takes the hill for the first time since the all-star break for the White Sox. He’ll get a third crack at the Twins, who have had mixed results against the left-handed starter this year. On May 12, Keuchel allowed six earned runs in 5 2/3 innings, but then struck out six batters and held Minnesota to three earned runs over a seven-inning start in his next outing. An area of emphasis for Keuchel to focus on the rest of the season is limiting home runs, as he’s given up 13 homers . The Twins have two home runs off of him this season. For Minnesota, Bailey Ober makes his ninth career start, and fourth against the South Siders. Similar to Keuchel, he’s had mixed results in this matchup. Most recently, he White Sox chased him after 3 1/3 innings of five-run ball in his second start https://www.chicagowxstore.com/51-White_Sox_Jace_Fry_Jersey, but Ober responded by tossing five shutout innings on July 5. The White Sox’s offense has a chance to avenge Monday’s struggles, as Ober has allowed 34 hits in 33 innings. He’s also never thrown more than five innings, so expect to see a lot of Minnesota relievers.
